The task

This is only one of many exhamples our charity projects, our clients and us self supporting projects around the globe.

“Faces of Ethiopia”, Photography: The famine in Ethiopia attracts scarce media attention as the constant stream of current events push the catastrophe off the news agenda. But the suffering continues, even if we are not confronted with the fact on a daily basis.

In order to re-awake our awareness of the tragedy, echo median haus has initiated the touring exhibition, “Faces of Ethiopia” in cooperation with the photographers Inge Prader, Peter Rigaud, Matthias Ziegler and Ricardo Herrgott and the organisation “Menschen für Menschen” and Uschi Fellner, publisher of the magazine “Madonna”.

In honour of the occasion, echomedia buchverlag has published a moving photo essay of works by the photographers involved in the exhibition. The book will be presented for the first time at the Berlin opening event.

All proceeds will go to Karl Heinz Böhm, the founder of the organisation “Menschen für Menschen” and his wife Almaz to support they tireless efforts in Africa.
